Easy to Make Christmas Pudding

Directions

  1. Mix together fruit, spices, nuts, sugar and suet, then add sour milk and soda.
  2. Put into jars ¾ (scant) full, seal and turn screw top ½ turn back.
  3. Cook in canner for 3 hours.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup suet
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup raisins
  • ½ nutmeg
  • 1 cup currants
  • ½ tsp cloves
  • ½ cup cherries
  • 1 cup sour milk
  • ½ cup mixed fruit
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ cup walnuts
